C. Bernt Sannwald
C. Bernt Sannwald is Partner and Managing Director of Sannwald
& Cie. GmbH.
He co-founded Sannwald & Compagnie in 1991.
His previous 10 years of professional experience were almost
entirely spent at JPMorgan where he started his career in 1981.
After spending time with JPMorgan in Frankfurt, New York and at the IFC/World Bank in Washington, he proceeded to build up the international project finance group at JPMorgan out of Frankfurt.
C. Bernt Sannwald then relocated to JPMorgan’s Buenos Aires Office, where his responsibilities included M&A projects, project finance, debt restructuring and major privatisation mandates.
In 1989, two years before setting up his own company, C. Bernt Sannwald moved back to Germany to join the M&A subsidiary of the Delbrück Private Bank where he concentrated on M&A of medium-sized enterprises.
C. Bernt Sannwald studied economics and business administration at the European Business School in Frankfurt, Paris and London and graduated in 1981.
He speaks English, Spanish, French and German.
As deputy chairman of the advisory board he supports carstenrehder.de a Hamburg-based shipping company with a strong focus on project development.
He is chairman of the supervisory board of pvt-advisors.com a leading independent consultancy for corporate director boards and supervisory boards in the DACH region.
